Why we need the Adsense Injector?

Yes, There 's already one adsense module out there that we all use it. So why we need another adsense module?

The answer is 'Adsense Injector' module is not another adsense module. It is based on the widly used adsense module actually.

We love adsense injector because using the traditional adsense module, Although easy, But It only allow us to place adsense unit in drupal blocks!

Drupal blocks! the whole drupal article content is actual one drupal block, so It is impossible to place the adsense unit at upper right of our content or even inside our article content where we intend to place, and That is why adsense injector come to help!

According to some adsense statistics research, the adsense unit attract the best result when it is placed on the beginning of the content, with text all around it. and the Adsense Injector module come with out-of-the-box solution for this kind of adsense unit layout!

Install and configure the Adsense Injector module

Just download the adsense injector module and install it like any other modules

• Extract the module archived file under the directory 'sites/all/modules'
• Go to 'Site building->modules' to enable the adsense injector module
• Go to 'Site configuration->Adsense Injector' to configure the module

  

  Click the checkbox 'Insert inline ad in node body..' to enable the adsense unit into our content. and 75 is the minimum content word count for display adsense , of course we could modify the word count number if we want to.

• Now comes to the most important and tricky configuration , make sure you disable the online rich text editor(e.g. fckeditor) in the 'Site building->Modules' section  before you go to 'Site configuration->Adsense Injector' to configure this module, because rich text editor will filter out some css code that is essential to place the adsense unit into the right position!.
   
• Insert the code as following, the default code is more complex and might break page layout for internet explorer browser. So just replace it with the following code.

  

  The div style is essential and will be filter out if you 're using fckeditor!

• Check the content type you want to have the adsense unit injected

  

Now we 're finished with the configuration and you could have nice adsense unit placed just like my page!
